I am writing a review about the inCharge X cable, but the pros and cons I mention apply to the inCharge XL Pocket cable as well, as they have the same construction.

I own two inCharge X cables and one inCharge XL cable, and I must say that they are fantastic. They are compact, universal, and made of high-quality materials with a sleek design. However, I have noticed a problem with the reliability of the outer ports. All of my cables seem to have this issue, which appears to be a design flaw.

The cable works perfectly when charging a USB-C device from a USB-C source. But the outer connectors tend to become loose after about a year of everyday use. As a result, the cables fail to charge devices reliably. I cannot simply plug my iPhone into the power bank, put it in my bag, and forget about it. The charging process starts and stops unpredictably unless I keep both devices on a flat surface. This issue does not occur with regular long cables and has nothing to do with the power bank since I tested it with several sources.

I wish Rolling Square provided spare parts for the outer connectors instead of making me buy a new cable. However, I will probably buy a new one anyway because there is no other cable like it.
